I'm excited about the book and support all you do. But we're a Republic, not a democracy. Our founders, for good reason, deplored democracies. I cringe every time I hear a politician say democracy. We were never intended to be one. :(

This country is a democratic republic; it was intended to have a republican (small "r") system of government of a democratic (small "d") character. Democracy can also refer to the principle of rule of the people. What I'm aiming to do is to preserve the ability of people to govern themselves, the "kratos" (power) of the "demos" (people). The fact that some misapply the word "democracy" doesn't make it something you should deplore.
