"HIDDEN CAM: Media Matters Brags About Sabotaging Roger Stone"

Published on Oct 28, 2016
Project Veritas Action has released the sixth video in a multi-part series that is sending shockwaves through the DNC and the Clinton campaign. In a new video released by Project Veritas Action, a PVA journalist exposes how his pay for play with Robert Creamer landed him a meeting with Bradley Beychock, the President of Media Matters For America, an organization that has been attacking James O’Keefe for years.

During the meeting, Beychock gave the PVA journalist a tour of their offices. He also proudly boasted about the Media Matters assault on conservative writer and political consultant Roger Stone.

Published on Aug 8, 2016
In this video, James O'Keefe attempted to confront Detroit Free Press columnist Brian Dickerson after O'Keefe was able to obtain Dickerson's ballot at the polls in Michigan. When O'Keefe tried to confront him at his house about voter fraud, Dickerson ran inside and refused to come outside. Instead, Dickerson's wife came outside and spoke to O'Keefe about undercover journalism. She said undercover journalism is outdated and "not acceptable".

Reporting the Facts: Doing the New York Times' Job for Them

Published on Jul 19, 2016
As journalists, it is our duty as members of the Fourth Estate to hold people accountable and report the facts. If, as an institution, we are unwilling to be honest and identify the facts around controversial events, the growing division in this country will increase and a good deal of the blame will fall on the legacy media.

@Project_Veritas confronts former US Attorney Jim Letten, members of media, to speak Truth To Power

NJO: Title, video and blurb from James O'Keefe's YouTube channel VeritasVisuals.

Published on Aug 26, 2013
Project Veritas confronts former US Attorney Jim Letten at Tulane University, where he is now employed as a dean at the law school

Letten resigned in disgrace when his office was found attempting to manipulate open trials by disparaging the reputation of defendants on online public forums

There is reason to believe the US Department Of Justice pressured Letten's office back in 2010 to prosecute O'Keefe. After the incident in Sen. Landrieu's office, in which videographers sought to ascertain whether constituent phone calls were being answered, Letten recused from the case, only to pass it to associates within the office that even included Sen. Landreiu's brother.

When confronted, Letten only came out of his office after contacting various members of law enforcement. He then proceeded to swear at our reporters, created fictional crimes, made false statements in front of police, and even committed a minor assault. He acted with complete impunity, as the police officers patiently waited in silence until the conclusion of his tirade, only to then detain our reporters under another fictional pretense.

Our videographers decided to take the message of "truth to power" to journalism outfits across the NYC metro area -- asking them to accept a copy of Breakthrough and to participate in the practice of releasing full raw tapes with all of their investigations.

A special appearance is made by our great friend Gavin McIness, Fox News contributor and founder of Vice, who more than anyone understands the problems facing our lapdog media.

Minions / fellow culture warriors involved:

Gavin McInnes

Gavin McInnes
NJO: It's only prudent to note that Gavin McInnes (cheap bastard typing the blurb couldn't be bothered to spell his name right) is a regular contributor to the far-right, openly racist magazine website TakiMag.com, having written 168 articles for it by my count on August 29th 2013.

The Gavin McInnes bit starts at 07:10 and features the charming sight of James O'Keefe receiving verbal fellatio from this whiskery middle-aged man who I'm given to understand used to be kind of a big thing in New York hipster circles. And who currently writes on a regular basis for a racist shitrag, as I just mentioned. Ah well, whatever floats your boat I guess. Anyway, in terms of arousal, James has a definite tumescent sort of look about him by 07:48, just as someone pops out the door of the row house behind them and stands there not knowing what to do for a moment before deciding to stay inside till they're done. By the eight minute mark James is just standing there with a big dumb grin on his face, licking his lips and nodding away like "UNNNGH this is exactly the quality of verbal fellatio that James O'Keefe likes to receive and in a just world would be receiving ALL THE TIME." Alas, it ends rather abruptly, with Whiskery Hipster Friend Gavin asking "Where are the balls?", followed by a cut to a clip of Rachel Maddow talking. What a tease!

While I'm on the subject of oral sex metaphors, it's only a matter of record that James O'Keefe has made use of them here and there too, so I'm in good company. Also please note that I did manage to steer clear of the hoary old "coming in someone's mouth as an assertion of dominance" cliché that James seems to favor, which I think you'll agree shows some degree of class on my part. I do try to keep this a family blog, after all.

That's to say nothing of the first seven minutes ten seconds. Except: Holy shit, this child can whine! Greets worse than a wee bairn, as we might say in Scotland. And what is he even whining about, really, when it comes down to it? That, what, there was this proposed bill to bring healthcare affordability to millions of people, save lives and all that jazz, and seeing how he and his buddies are Good Christians and all, they naturally felt it was their Christian duty to try to hinder this in some way, even if it was just a perfunctory "keeping up appearances for Jesus" token effort, and so he and his Real True Good Christian buddies went and planned some bullshit sting operation against Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) who was in support of the legislation, but then in the execution of said sting things went balls-up, and they got arrested for it, and then for some reason he had all these beastly people paying attention to him and hating on him for doing these bullshit sting things --- exactly like what happened to Jesus! --- and he had to do community service, and... and the bill passed anyway, and the millions of people ended up getting their fucking healthcare, and up in heaven Jesus (the real one, not the wussified one that those fag hippies in Boston presumably believed in, haw!) wept a little bit and sent James a head-message saying "Son, what matters is U Tried", and then three years eight months after doing the thing James still hadn't learned anything or grown as a person, hence the interminable amount of whining and tantrum-throwing like some sort of lumbering toddler-man, a product of apparently really flaky parents who apparently never taught their child how to behave?

Yeah, I think that about sums it up.

What a sad farce.

James O’Keefe in Defense of Taping Mitch McConnell, and Everyone Else

April 15th 2013, 4:45 am

Anti-taping laws hurt democracy by shielding the powers that be from accountability, writes provocateur James O’Keefe.

“Break in, bribe, seduce and lie; anything to break through that palace guard and get the story,” said investigative reporter Robert Scheer, according to a article by Abbie Hoffman in a decades-old edition of Mother Jones magazine. Sometimes I’ve broken through the palace guards, and other times the palace guards have nearly broken me. What didn’t jail me made me stronger and smarter. I’ve become all too familiar with civil and criminal statutes that are bad for democracy because they insolate those vested in a public trust from democratic accountability.

Those embroiled in fraud rarely make unprovoked admissions of licentious behavior, which is precisely why covert tactics are effective in exposing the truth. Yet the problem lies in the consequences of applying Scheer’s rule. If I were on the left, pushing the legal limits of recordings by secretly taping meetings of the National Rifle Association, I’d be a cause célèbre and win awards for journalistic excellence. Because my passion so far has been exposing government-funded sacred cows and disrupting statist narratives, I am an apostate. Therein the tragedy lies; a free press is supposed to defend the rights of journalists with whom they disagree. It’s not just ignoble for the mainstream to ignore my First Amendment crises when they’ve arisen; journalists who reflexively call for my prosecution put themselves outside their own values, assuming that support for the First Amendment is one of them. They must now confront these values head-on as surreptitious recordings spark a mainstream renaissance, opening the floodgates to a veritable constitutional crisis over privacy, consent, and the ability to protect anonymous whistleblowers.

Mother Jones magazine’s Washington bureau chief, David Corn, recently won a Polk journalism award after publishing a series of clandestine recordings. Writing later about how he came into possession of the tape, Corn noted that the recording raised a “question of possible criminal prosecution” in Florida, a two-party-consent state. His lawyers advised Scott Prouty (the bartender who captured then candidate Romney’s now famous “47 percent” comments), his anonymous source at the time, to “shut up and keep your head low.” This week, Corn stands to win another journalism award from Ithaca College for “outstanding achievement in independent media,” a week after a recording was released that captured a private conversation in Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Kentucky campaign office. Corn’s latest story could trigger felony eavesdropping charges. The FBI is investigating, and an official in the group Progress Kentucky has subsequently resigned, saying he “does not condone any allegations of illegal activity that might have taken place.” The murky nature of the Kentucky law makes it unclear whether it’s legal to record a barely audible conversation, according to NBC News. Sadly, rather than being viewed from the onset as a freedom-of-press issue, these debates split neatly down party lines, contingent upon who’s being investigated.

I received a unique education in this murkiness. My punishment—and I’m hardly the first journalist to be put through the legal wringer for aggressively pursuing the truth—changed my behavior. I’m hesitant to go into federal buildings, for example. I haven’t been arrested again for a reason.
But it also forced me to take my work to a new level. I may or may not have tapes of a federal employee committing fraud. I’ve spent the last few days with lawyers dissecting 18 U.S.C. § 1001, prohibiting anyone from making “materially false,” fictitious, or fraudulent statements to the federal government. Whether an undercover reporter fibbing about a scenario is making a “materially false” statement is any lawyer’s guess. There is virtually no case law on this point, and no analysis of the two cases where the statue is discussed. Anybody who tells a harmless fib to a federal-government employee potentially risks everything; we are not talking about a slap on the wrist, we are talking about a quarter-million dollar fine, a felony conviction, and the destruction of one’s reputation in the media. Therefore, the federal government is shielded from the type of reporting Mother Jones, NBC’s To Catch a Predator, and ABC’s Primetime have all won awards for.

@ProjectVeritas_ Journalists, Politicians Refuse to Post Lawn Sign saying "HOME IS PROUDLY GUN FREE"

Posing as "Citizens Against Senseless Violence," we visit the homes of journalists working for Westchester Journal News, MSNBC, and the Star-Ledger. We also visited the home of Eric Holder. None will take our signs that say "THIS HOME IS PROUDLY GUN FREE."

Since these reporters and editors did not consider it a violation of the privacy and safety of others to reveal which homes have guns and which homes don't, we went to see which of them would be willing to put a sign up publicly declaring their homes to be gun-free zones. While we didn't find any members of the media with the strength of their convictions, we did find quite a few guns, and some good explanations for why they might be necessary..... Guns for Me, but not for Thee.

"Ben Jealous", "Bill Maher", and "David Brock" Offered Ballot in Nation's Capitol

While the fight over voter fraud continues state by state, we wondered would D.C.'s poll workers hand us a ballot if we posed as Ben Jealous, head of the NAACP, Bill Maher, an HBO comedian who donated $1 million to re-elect Obama, or David Brock, head of Media Matters? And if people posing as celebrities can get a ballot to vote in their name, what about those of us who aren't famous?

In response to this video, NBC journalist Alicia Menendez (whose name is used by the second videographer in the short segment at 3:52) wrote this thoughtful, spirit-of-democracy-affirming article on nbclatino.tumblr.com.

Among the comments to that article are 22 by Sean Murphy, whose Disqus avatar is a still of the "Sean Murphy the Irish terrorist" bogeyman from the Project Veritas Medicaid sting videos, and who also happens to be Facebook friends with O'Keefe and a number of other Project Veritas-associated people, eg. Ryan Girdusky, Ken "Simon Templar" Larrey, Cynthia Jeub and Anthony Dini. Here are a few of his comments:

Again
they never claimed to actually be the voter... they just asked if they were on the list. so POW *nose bleed* no fraud comitted. Thats probably why DC Board of Elections hasn't been able to press charges.

...

1. "[You] had already gone to the polls earlier that morning to cast [your] vote." How do you know? because the ballot clerks never checked of your name in the video. Furthermore O'Keefe's associate inquired if ID was needed, and they said sure you should have it. Nothing awry there. Either way are you advocating a system by which a voter's right is protected ONLY IF THEY SHOW UP EARLY ENOUGH?

As for the reason of this project I very highly doubt it is the same day voters of 2008; that would be REGISTRATION FRAUD not impersonation fraud.

And speaking as a person in a state where dead people have cast ballots, ID would solve the issue. Furhermore you're 1 in 10 people don't have IDs is a complete phony data point that you are unable to site it. The truth is that anybody who wants ID can get it; governments will even pay for those who cant afford it. And I have yet to find someone that doesn't posesses ID.

The fact is, Democrats want to keep the door open to cheating, and maintain a system by which legitimate votes are undermined by illegitimate votes. ID is a s afeguard to the integrity of our votes.
This article seems to show the only thing you care about is the ability to cheat an election.
Props to O'Keefe for punking you.

oH please you're brainwashed by the communist news network and My Socialist News Broadcasting Company. You can't defeat the logic.

...

Thats right, you don't like what he says, screw the first amendment, lock him up and shut him up. You're a freak and an animal! Stop raping people.

...

Actually in most states; if you have a license that does not match your address you are required to have it updated within 30 days.

Shall I cite the State Laws?

POW right hook nose bleed chipped teeth

Second, Sean Murphy's Facebook was only active in 2011 and has a limited friends list that includes James O'Keefe and a number of other Project Veritas-connected people (Cynthia Jeub, Anthony Dini, Ryan Girdusky, Ken "Simon Templar" Larrey), as well as Joe Barton.

Third, Sean Murphy's Facebook "likes" the groups New Hampshire Young Republicans and Anyone but Jennifer Horn for NH GOP Chair, thus indicating a personal connection to New Hampshire and a right-leaning interest in its politics. Details on Joe Barton's Facebook, such as his old high school in New Hampshire, local conservative groups he has been involved with in New Hampshire, and his pointing out that a purple finch is the "State Bird!", similarly indicate a strong personal connection to New Hampshire and a right-leaning interest in its politics. Sean Murphy's Facebook claims he was born in Dublin and went to one St Thomas Aquinas High School, but this can be safely assumed to be a simple fiction to fit with the Irish terrorist character.
