Brokeback Priests: Priests tell Gays to Stay Gay
Ben and James go undercover in Boston and get homosexual advice from two Reformed "Catholic" Franciscan Ministers.
NJO: A video titled "Brokeback Priests: Priests tell Gays to Stay Gay" was uploaded to James O'Keefe's YouTube channel VeritasVisuals in the summer of 2009 but was later made "private". As with the Love Thy Prisoner Campaign video, its content was recorded at Boston Gay Pride 2009. The above caption is from the archived YouTube page. The 3 still frames are taken from YouTube via a bit of URL trickery.

Convservative Christian said... - Just because someone was picked up and put in Guantanamo, does not mean they are terrorists. As Christ instructs, we are to love even our enemy. As Americans, we ought to especially care for the wrongfully imprisoned, those who have never been given a trial, those who have never been charged, those against whom no evidence has been brought. What do you propose? That we keep them locked up forever and never tried?

. said... - Conservative Christian,
I think this is where Christianity descends into insanity.
I agree to love thy neighbor, and even love thy enemy, but the largest misnomer possible is that you have to 'turn your cheek' to every act of aggression. If that were true, then let a molester violate a child, let a murderer kill your family. Christians can kill with a clear conscience when the cause is just. You can care about someone and understand that there's no room in this world for them. The Christian crusades are the best example of this, and the world would be a better place if Mohammadism had been wiped off the map.
The answer short of that is certainly not to let them into your home, and write loving letters to them. The answer is to have a damn spine, a backbone, kill the enemy, hope for the best, and convert those who are able to be converted. Walking into your murderer's sword on some misguided interpretation of Christian pacifism is not noble, it's suicidal.
Charles Martel was a great Christian conquerer.

Conervative Christian said... - By your response, you still seem to assume that just by being in Guantanamo, you are guilty, even without a trial. Some of these prisoners were just kids when picked up, some of them are Chinese dissidents picked up in the border region between Afghanistan and China, Although China considers them terrorists, that does not mean we, as Americans ought to. Also by your response you seem to assume that everyone killed in the Crusades deserved to die, even the Orthodox Christians mercilessly slaughtered by the Crusaders? Perhaps you should be a bit more thoughtful about who you wipe off the map and not assume that just because your sword has found its way into their gut, they must be guilty. At least you ought to do a little research into who all is being held at Guantanamo before you decide there is no room in the world for them.
October 25, 2009 at 7:46 PM

Ben said... - alright, well let's turn it around, are all the people in Guantanamo innocent?
Would you house one who is guilty and released on a technicality?
"Christianity" too often gets defined solely by weakness, by this mindlessness which says "help everyone always" and forgets that there are some people who have to be fought, otherwise you turn into a pacifist, a lamb for the slaughter.
I don't think that everyone the government locks up is guilty, but I think that those who blindly advocate for shutting down Guantanamo are motivated by self-righteousness and false notions of Christianity rather than reason, forgetting to be as wise as snakes.
In fact, I can't condemn you enough without resorting to name-calling. I think your point and your perspective is ridiculous and wrong and self-destructive. You are the intellectual self-immolation of society.
And what of Charles Martel? What of the greatest of Christians who saved millions and future billions of souls by having the strength to act in lieu of your philosophical malaise? If only the Viennese had opened their gates to the barbarians and preached love and Christian happiness, surely Suleiman would have laughed and put aside their differences and all would be forgiven.

The "Love Thy Prisoner Campaign" made its debut at the Gay Pride Parade in Boston over the weekend.
People were asked to adopt a detainee, provide a home if they get released, help them with their 'religious needs' and be a friend, a pen pal.
James and I were told that we were "the most truly progressive people here..." and this was at the Boston Gay Pride rally, so, I think that puts us in strong running for the most progressive people in the world.

From the files of Ben Wetmore: "The death of George Tiller"
NJO: "Benjamin Wetmore: A mentor of mine; a genius",
said James O'Keefe in an interview in September 2009. So let's take a look at some of the wisdom of this certifiably
mentorial influence on James' life.
Today, from June 2009, "The death of Dr George Tiller":
George Tiller, infamous doctor known for performing partial-birth and late-term abortions in Wichita, Kansas was shot and killed yesterday in his church. The media has been framing this issue as one of violence against a "health" provider, but in reality the current person suspected has virtually no ties to the pro-life movement. Regardless, the death of George Tiller is sad because not only will other confused doctors take his place, but his will become an issue of a fake martyr for the cause of killing children. The emotionally disturbed individual who decided to take a life to save unborn lives ought to have known that given the legal situation in America and the pervasive culture of death, that even by stopping Tiller, sadly, no babies would be saved and the media will jump on the opportunity to defame all pro-lifers. The emotional trauma of abortion, fostered and reinforced by abortionists and the abortion industry, will sadly only be furthered by this act, not alleviated. The violence also denies the powerful opportunity for conversions, such as those by Dr. Bernard Nathanson and Norma McCorvey. The murder of George Tiller inflicts the same emotional distress of the abortions he routinely provided, and will not save any babies. It's a sad day in many ways, not the least of which is the knowledge that thousands more babies are going to die tomorrow.

People want to close
abortion clinics and are not sure how.
Some have been closed, but pro-lifers are not sure what universal
tactics work and which closings were instead providential. Through this grant, Massachusetts Citizens
for Life will take the methods used by pro-lifers nationwide and test them,
track what works and learn the best ways to close clinics. The beautiful side effect of this research
will be the shuttering of clinics. We
will publish the findings and let pro-lifers nationwide know what worked in Massachusetts. If the tactics work in a state as
pro-abortion as the Bay
State, it can work across
the nation.
Most of the previous efforts
were undertaken by volunteer organizations, and their successes were primarily anecdotal. But anecdotes are not transferable. The lack of serious media coverage has also hurt
our ability to find out what truly closes a clinic. The methods have never been measured in a
scientific and analytical way, and approached using paid staff having this as a
full-time job.

March 30, 2009
On September 13, 2007 Laura
Hope Smith, a 22 year old girl who was 13 weeks pregnant, died during an
abortion. The tragedy of losing both
grandchild and daughter was not lost on her mother, who was shocked and angered
because Laura had been raised in a pro-life and Christian household. As the details unfolded, it became clear that
the initial decision that Laura made to abort was not the choice she would have
made if given the correct information about the risks to abortion, information
on fetal development, and the ultrasound picture that the abortionist had already
taken.
Informed consent laws have
been passed in various forms in 33 states.
Such laws are often non-controversial and not seriously opposed by the
abortion industry. Social science
researcher Dr. Michael New has shown that such laws have on average a clear reduction
in the abortion rate by .86% in the overall abortion rate on average. The sporadic judicial nullification of such
laws has made it clear as to their impact by showing the subsequent spike in
abortions in a year following nullification.
As Massachusetts’
abortion rate is currently 19.9 per thousand women of reproductive age,
reducing that through passage of such a law to 19.04 per thousand women of
reproductive age would save 1,170 babies a year.

ACORN breaks into foreclosed homes - criminal trespassing.
Uploaded on Feb 21, 2009
The community group (I use this term loosely) ACORN, breaks into foreclosed homes, moving the previous owners back in. This is criminal trespassing. This story was reported by WJZ TV in Baltimore. The home in this video had already been sold by the bank and had new owners. My question is, why doesn't ACORN use the money that Barack Obama has given them, to repurchase the homes and give them back to the previous owners?
NJO: Title, video and blurb from YouTube channel NAGGERNUTZ. This is the source for the video that James O'Keefe would later cite in this article. I include it here to provide background for the rest of the posts on ACORN.

Men in Skirts Use Women's Restroom at Mass. Marriott Hotel
Uploaded on Mar 12, 2010
Transgender madness in Massachusetts: The Peabody Marriott Hotel hosted the annual "First Event" transgender conference on January 15-17, 2009. These photos and videos illustrate the insanity that will descend on all of America . . . unless this sexual radical movement is stopped: Seven-foot men in dresses using the women's restroom. Hundreds of cross-dressers swarming the hotel, upsetting other guests (who were not forewarned). A transgender rock concert.
This is what protecting "gender identity and expression" really means.
Mass. Bill H1728 (now before the Legislature) would punish any opposition to such madness with fines and jail time. Even schools would be opened up to cross-dressing children, transgender restrooms and locker rooms, and sports teams. Employers would be subject to new non-discrimination regulations. (At the federal level, ENDA would force this on the country if passed.)

From the files of Ben Wetmore: "Center-right Moral Crusades: 'Get mad, get mad dog mad'"
NJO: "Benjamin Wetmore: A mentor of mine; a genius",
said James O'Keefe in an interview in September 2009. So let's take a look at some of the wisdom of this certifiably
mentorial influence on James' life.
Today, from November 2008, "Center-right Moral Crusades: 'Get mad, get mad dog mad'":
Too often those on the right are content to give charts, statistics and pristine figures for our arguments. We let the other side roll out fake grandmothers, women lying about recycling cans for food, fake claims of hate crimes and wonder why, even when these incidents are proven wrong time and time again, we keep losing to people.
Only when one confronts a leftist who is screaming about the tragic death of Matthew Shepherd and points out that it had nothing to do with his homosexuality and everything to do with a drug deal gone wrong, does one understand the mentality of the other side. When they learn the truth they simply don't care, they keep screaming about hate crimes.
So this isn't a claim to become as irrational as the other side, or merely to parrot back opposing moral outrage to our issues somewhat artificially. No, we ought to set our own real priorities, examine how the proposals on our side and theirs affect real people, and then apply real instances that have a strong emotional appeal for those who are not well educated on our topics.
The emotional appeals can become a hook from which they learn the facts and the figures and statistics that show that our side is truthful and honest about these problems, but we can't forget that crucial middle point of attracting people in the first place through emotional appeals to become interested in our topics and solutions.

Pro-life activists not ashamed to use the tactics of the Left against them
By James O’Keefe
In February 2008, Lila Rose and I released our second undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood. We were able to donate money to the organization for the explicit purpose of reducing the number of black babies born in the United States – in line with the intentions of Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger.
We
carefully chose a dozen or so “one party consent” states, where it is
legal to audio record someone without their consent. Not a single
Planned Parenthood employee we spoke to was disinterested in the
prospect of a donation for our stated purposes. We asked that our
donation to be earmarked for minority mothers only. Autumn Kersey, vice
president of development for the Idaho division of Planned Parenthood,
actually confessed she was “excited” about the donation. We received
nationwide news coverage for our sting operation and put Planned
Parenthood on the defensive because of its advocacy of black genocide. While many pro-life organizations across the country continue focusing on development, this investigation was far more effective, as it managed to expose Planned Parenthood’s original intentions and raise awareness using telephones and a public university’s video editing program.
This kind of political technology needs to be further utilized by young conservative activists. When I was editor of The Rutgers Centurion, the conservative newspaper at Rutgers University in New Jersey, I convinced administrators to ban Lucky Charms cereal on the grounds it is offensive to Irish Americans. This was done to satirize political correctness on campuses, using what legendary leftist activist Saul Alinsky called the most effective political tactic of all – mockery. It was a win-win scenario: If they did not ban Lucky Charms, they would appear to be biased against Irish Americans. If they did, they would be branded as ridiculously sensitive, as was the case. Likewise, either Planned Parenthood accepts donations from racists, or they must reject the view of their founder, Sanger, as racist.
We framed the issue in a creative way. We did not tackle abortion conventionally but from the racism angle. Because leftists believe that racism is a cardinal sin, we used their rules against them.
Alinsky believed in doing whatever necessary to disrupt and annoy power structures, applying constant pressure and opposition. Applying some of his tactics from “Rules for Radicals,” we (a) never went outside our own experience, (b) went outside our opposition’s experience, (c) used enjoyable tactics and did not spend too long on any particular one and (d) made people believe we were a 1,000 member coordinated conspiracy when there are really only three of us. Many in the pro-life movement criticize using deceit in exposing the racism and absurdity in the abortion movement, but are willing to condemn Planned Parenthood for what we exposed utilizing those tactics.
Many students around the country have nodded in agreement with my theories on activism, but they fear doing what it takes to make them happen. The movement dies when it becomes boring and risk-averse. The hardest part about being a leader is getting people to focus on action in addition to philosophy. If you must spend time “convincing” anyone of anything, it is that they owe it to their philosophy to take action. In the pro-life movement it has been particularly difficult to find people to believe in these tactics, or have the courage to use them.
Leaders taking on power structures need to be raw, confident, fearless and impermeable. Lila received a letter threatening to prosecute the group for violating wiretapping laws, but it did not stop her from continuing the investigation. After the investigation aired nationally on Fox News, Planned Parenthood could no longer press charges, as Lila would appear the victim.
Activists should always be forward thinking and compound successes immediately. For example, pro-life activists across the country could easily replicate our racism project locally by demanding Planned Parenthood be banned from their respective community or campus. “Shut down Planned Parenthood because abortion is murder,” simply will not work. The demand should frame the issue in leftist terms, making it harder to say no. It could be something like “We strongly oppose racism at Springfield State. To honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, we demand that Planned Parenthood be disaffiliated from campus.” It will be very hard for a town or campus bureaucrat to say “no” to anything that claims to honor MLK Jr.
Most importantly, conservative activists need to be their own media, and use their independent media to obtain their goals. In our situation, You Tube decided to arbitrarily ban Part II of our investigation, which had received tens of thousands of views, because it violated the “Terms of Use.” To my knowledge there was nothing in our videos that constituted a violation. We were more likely targeted due to our message, considering that there are millions of other videos that break copyright laws or contain sexual or violent material that are ignored. It is crucial to maintain independent broadcasting capabilities in print and online to get the word out.
The media coverage gained from our investigations is fun but fleeting. Media is unfortunately thought to be an end, but it should be a means. The purpose of our investigation was not just to get on Fox News but to get Planned Parenthood banned from UCLA. If we are successful, this story will likely make the Los Angeles Times and Larry King Live. This would, in turn, encourage others and lead to results so significant across the country that the mainstream media will not be able to ignore them.
Through all of this, your purpose and goal must be clear. We are not doing this just for fun or to embarrass Planned Parenthood; we want to stop them from continuing their murderous activities once and for all.
